New Computer hardware warranty / Refurbished Computer hardware WarrantyNew computer hardware comes with a six month warranty. If hardware within a new computer is going to fail, statisticallly it will fail within the first six months.  This is why other companies try to sell you "extended warranties" because they know that the probability of it ever needing repairs is very slim. 

Refurbished Computer hardware come with a 90 day warranty.  Refurbished machines have passed the initial break-in period. This means that any hardware issues should have already occurred if there was a defective part.  Warranties DO NOT cover accidental damage, the dropping of the product, lightning damage, or water damage.
