- navigate to %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Network\Connections\PBK
- Edit the vpn's .pbk file by opening it with notepad.
- Find UseRasCredentials=1 and Change this to UseRasCredentials=0

Don't you just hate when you connect to a VPN and windows starts using the VPN credentials. here's the fix.
