Installed Magnaflow Exhaust on my 2011 Jeep Compass

Disclaimer! Warning this is to be used as a guide and I will not be held responsible if anything goes wrong or you break anything. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!

So it turns out that the Magnaflow Jeep Compass 4x4 exhaust that fits 2007-2010 models Part #16777 http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shop ... ll&id=7150 WILL fit on the 2011 4x4 Compass!!! Yet Magnaflow states that 2011 needs to make a new custom exhaust to fit the 2011s. How do i know it will fit? Because i installed it last night! Took about two hours but i got it done.

I still had the old stock exhaust off of my 2008 compass and compared it to the stock 2011 exhaust. They look exactly the same but the 2011s had an increase in diameter from 2.25" to 2.5" and about 1 foot long on one section of it (No its not a catalytic converter). And they painted the muffler black on the 2011 models.


I'll post numbers on any increased MPG next week and i'll post sound clips this weekend.
